The influence of black music on this world is literally inescapable.


You can trace every form of popular music tha people enjoy and cherish and ultimately lead it all back to black folks.




Jazz

Blues

R&B

Country

Rock n Roll

House

Techno

Hip-Hop

Reggae

Ska

Dancehall




Black people are the gods of music.



The ones most people are surprised by are House and Techno. Mostly because of European cacs, and the stranglehold influence they've had over electronic dance music since the 90's. And the connotation with rave and club culture. But House indeed was started in the 80's by gay black men in Chicago. And Techno, also created in the 80's, by Detroit black folks.

i'll take it further and say 90% of pop culture would not exist without black people. still deciding if this good or not.
