TYRONE GA!
If they started their working career in corporate America or med school then I can see how it happens.

It’s one thing to say this when peeps are in college and they have more leisure time, but when you start working, have relationships, family etc. it’s easy to see how ish comes up.

I’m single dude with flexibility, so I have time and I’d make the call, but not everyone does.
you not lying. But sometimes you gotta make time.

This is not surprising for anyone that makes money and is black. It’s more of a cultural educational thing if any.

I could make 500k and work in finance for 25 years and not a single family member will ask me to teach their kids how to get it.
Exactly.

I didn't click the X vid but the comments in this thread clued me in and reminded me of this old Chris Rock joke.
A ww will suck the chrome off of bumper to get chosen. 😂

I repeat, just joking! But ww do compete hard to live in that life of luxury.

Some BW (divestors) see that and say to themselves we can do that too.
Garcelle Beauvais, Halle Berry, and Kimora Lee Simmons tried it but got used for their money and dumped.

Just noticed this is from the “Wealthy Black Coach Summit”, no doubt a summit about “coaches” telling black folks how to put money in one pocket by first putting money in both of their pockets

“Yall don’t wanna be lazy like them Morehouse kids, come and get rich with me”

I hear y’all. I would have made the call. But when someone’s a working adult priorities change. They may even mean to to make it, but ish happens.

The issue with a lot of us is that we make excuses where we don't have an excuse. Them fools didn't jump on the call because "adult priorities" got in the way. You're playing devil's advocate right now. They didn't jump on the call because like OP said, they aint serious. And that's a lot of our people right now, sad to say. And it's never gonna get solved if we don't call it out for what it is.
