I see where you're coming from, but the Asians had the second highest rate, and they are known for having a big family with males and females in the home, so why are they so high if your reasons is form lack of a male figure?.
When I read a few studies, even from back in the day, and what I've seen myself a child tends to come out gay based on the MOTHER. If she is stressed during pregnancy, the extra androgen's play a part. Also, when she is overbearing, and controlling, even with a father in the house but he was more timid, the child tends to come out homosexual or with very low self esteem which can aid in leaning towards being homosexual. I have my ideas why, but that is unnecessary to state now. I think the reason why we are seeing so much homosexuality is because women are becoming more demanding, and "independent" due to them making their own money, and having more control in relationships, which means they have a higher chance of making bad decisions(You need two people to make a good choice when it effects both of them, not one person) which brings stress when they are pregnant or they are overbearing in their household which effects their children as opposed to back int he day this was less likely due to the woman not having as much stress because she had less work to do, and being that she knew her life would be harder if she was not someone who can work within a group, she was less likely to be combative all the time with her husband/kids which kept the home a better place for kids to develop.
It all seems to be about the mother NOT the father, and how she treats the child during it's formative years, as well as stress during pregnancy that determines if a child will turn out a homosexual.
I always sad the reason black women are going crazy of the thought of black men being down low is because they have bisexual tendencies themselves and are projecting their feelings on to us. Most women of all races, I think have bisexual tendencies, at least sexually meaning they can have a sexual act with another woman, but don't see it as being gay because they don't love them like that. Women are way more sexual then men, and you learn this the more you study them.
