WHITE PEOPLE MAKE UP THE BULK OF SALES. IF IT'S LEGAL, THEY BUY LEGALLY NOW. WHITE PEOPLE BUY DRUGS FROM US IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS GENERALLY. NOW THEY DON'T HAVE TO BUY WEED FROM US IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS. THEY GET IT AT LEGALLY. SO THEIR NUMBERS GETTING CHOPPED IN HALF MAKE SENSE. WE STILL SELLING IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS THOUGH, ILLEGALLY. WE JUST AREN'T MAKING THAT CONVERSION TO LEGAL AS QUICK(OR BARELY AT ALL). WHITE PEOPLE SWOOPED IN AND SNATCHED THAT CLIENTELE.

thats because the gov't wont let them. There's people in South Central renting out storefronts with the little money they have waiting for LA to open up licensing applications for them. It's been over a year and these people are expected to make rent without doing any sales under the table.....

Black people with the acumen to succeed as business owners, grew up looking at drug dealing as a shortcut. Or something that people without options did.
Going to be hard to get the best minds of the community to view weed sales as a respectable job/business.

Whites have less problems with morals and respectability.

Don't know what you heard but it's not as easy as you think to get a dispensary up and running. From what I heard, there's a whole lot of bullshyt involved and most importantly, you need money. We are talking about like millions.

that's all it's about bro. Not just get high in peace but to reap all the profits from the market

Yeah that too. I think it's absolute bullshyt that 20 year olds are getting in trouble for this shyt for "not being old enough" when they're old enough to get charged as adults. The lawmakers really fukked up by not thinking this through. And of course black people are dispropoetionately affected by this.

it might not literally take a million to open a regular sized dispensary but at the end of the day there's politicians on the take. Theres shops paying whatever politician in their district a certain amount every month. The rents are 4x-5x higher if you're a weed shop as well.

Even the blacks who are trying to get in the game, are financially backed by cacs on some "social equity" shyt. So even if you see a black person in South LA with their own legal weed shop, they probably own like 15% of it and the rest is owned by the investors who are gonna be using blacks and latinos from the hood as fronts.

Above the fray.
My nikka stop, they have effectively shut out black ppl so far from this business. For the love of god, black folks needs to understand this "country" ain't for y'all

No. The posts in this thread highlight my original point. The Black people with the skills and aptitude to succeed in the legal weed business aren't inclined to enter it.
It took me 3 seconds to refute the dude's claim about what the entry barriers were to dispensary business.
He convinced himself that it was out of reach....."million dollar startup costs" and when I directed him to Colorado state govt. website detailing what the legal requirements are....that poked a hole in that.
Dudes con themselves out of even TRYING.

With all due respect, dudes can come up with a million legit or imagined reasons to not try to do something.
Businessmen and entrepreneurs are cut from a different cloth than regular people, and are risk takers by nature. A business minded Black person who wanted to enter the dispensary business would be able to assess the risk and figure out how to make it, if he got involved.

wtf are you talking about. There are black people who ARE trying to do something, but they are being denied.

You talking about fukkig Colorado where there aren't even any blacks. There's way more blacks in LA alone than all of Colorado.

Colorado was ground zero for legal recreational marijuana laws.I posted the ACTUAL legal requirements for entry as defined by the govt. of that state.

I'm assuming that most people understood why I chose that state.

Why don't you post the legal requirements for your state so we can separate the perception from the facts about what the entry barriers are. I will wait.
