It's actually really easy to get on the board of an HOA. Just show up on an election and have one neighbor cosign you. It's pretty much just a position you only need to show up to get. I was on the HOA for my community for 4 years. Of course as soon as I leave the HOA fees go up tho. These old cacs were always looking for some dumbass reason to raise fees wholetime we got 2m's in excess money that's constantly growing
