Because thats really the only value you get out them. They'll make sure nobody has an unkempt lawn with abandoned cars parked on the street.
But most decent nieghborhood are already capable of that on their own

Only value from HOA you really get is if their is a community rec facility that they manage for everyone, and simple charge a fee for that service.

I have a HOA, but it's only $200 a year and it's for maintenance for a nearby park. I could let my grass grow as long as I want and I can paint my house whatever color I like and I can leave an abandoned car on my driveway.

Has anyone here ever heard of these types of HOA? where it's only for maintenance for a park.

Unfortunately, HOA are really hard to avoid. My neighborhood is pretty chill. It's mostly black with a few white and asians. They pretty much leave you alone.

You don’t get bond for a failure to appear breh. Because you literally didn’t show up to court the first time, so why would they trust you to leave and show up on your own?? Not sure if it’s the same thing in all states, but usually you just stay in jail until a judge or magistrate sees you, which would have to be by the next business day or within 72 hours. This same thing would have happened if you skipped any other random court date for something trivial and then got pulled over for something. Saying she got arrested because of having brown grass is misleading.

Yes, thats exactly the type i mean. Those kind can be worth it. The ones where they police the neighborhood though i don't know why anyone would want those.

And she wasn’t even the only one in violation, she’s just the only one they persecuted.

Judge has an ability to be lenient on shyt like this. You get to speak to them at arraignment. It didn’t have to go this far, I don’t give a fukk what the bench warrant was for.

Yes, arrest her. But keep her in jail for a week with no bond? You don’t even get that from beating someone’s ass with a weapon.
