I am speaking on Tupac's skill with the pen and the times he has repeated himself. How in the world is my opinion of his skill equivalent to a political view? In fact, Pac advocates some of the WORST activity that we engage in. You'd have to be a crazy person to give your kids all of Tupac's material and tell them to follow him.

So since you tryna call somebody out: what has he done SPECIFICALLY to make him someone who cannot be criticised by black people?

What you need to do is read something by a true scholar and positive black figure.

And yeah. I grew up in the hood. My brother was a stick up kid who did 20 years in the box. My niqqas I grew up with still sell crack 25 years later. These facts have nothing to do with anything but if that kind of shyt turns you on then there ya go.
1) Hip Hop is about the soul....The pen has nothing to do with it...You are giving the same excuse that people used against Jazz..."but but classical music is more technical"...Man, just present it as you feel it...

That's "soul"...James Brown could adlib an entire song and that shyt sounds better than anything ever...That's soul...If you don't feel that...You are more on a "robotic" type of wavelength...I am just saying...

Some people want to "feel and experience" other are more aroused with the technical details relative to a given blueprint/reference point...

2) 2Pac advocated Black Unity...That is one thing he has been consistent with his entire life...But he was a young man expressing his life experience...
I don't necessarily agree with 2Pac, but he asked questions that are still relevant for people today...

3) 2Pac SHOULD BE CRITICIZED by ALL Black people...He should be studied and examined and broken down...He is one of the greatest Black Poets of the past 30 years...

4) Scholars don't have souls, bro...When shyt gets technical, the soul disintegrates...It is like composing a piano piece on Fruity Loops verse playing a real piano...You lose a lot little things that add texture, rhythm and magic...

5) You don't look at art to agree or disagree...You look at it to imagine what was the artist was experiencing when he or she made the piece...

That's something that is UNIQUELY human...

6) Contrary to popular belief, 2Pac probably had the BEST technique in Hip Hop...Eminem could be the only one better...We all know Jay Z is Top 2 because he is financially successful and people love to associate themselves with money...Only Jigganauts "feel" Jay z' music...The rest of us just enjoy it...

1)Jay Z 2)Kendrick 3)Biggie 4)Nas 5)Kanye
1) Materialism
2) Politically correct
3) "Party and Bullshat" Joker
4) Fantasy
5) Either scripted arrogance or serious personality disorder mixed with materialism and facades, attention whoring trend seeking pseudo-artist...

Soulless...

Okay. Thanks for playing. This is gibberish. Pac has written more about riding on enemies than anything. The whole thing with Biggie was totally misguided and look what it lead to.

I have been rhyming since 1983. I can freestyle for as long as I feel like. I do not judge MCs by their tone of voice alone. I look under the hood and get technical cause I am qualified to judge. Greg Nice is funky as they come but it takes more than that to be GOAT.

I like PACs music and his ideals but he was also a flawed individual. I was 12 when Pac died... Old enough to see how his legend was transformed after death.

How many people follow the thug mantra without understanding his music and ultimate message? I didn't become a fan until after death because during life all I saw was the fukkery and that was all that was conveyed. PAC is a God in Africa mind you.
1) 2Pac was not "flawed"...He was a human being with the greatest talent ever...The ability to communicate your experience in a way that makes people pay attention...That's what many of us seek...The need to be understood is just as important as understanding for human beings...

2) 2Pac would have been BIGGER if he stayed alive...Look at how much Waka Flocka has changed...Listen to Young Jeezy's recent Breakfast Club interview, dude has changed...

Death really robbed Hip Hop of its GREATEST talent ever...Dude would be 60M sold today...

3) 2Pac is followed for many reasons because he gave people many perspectives to interpret his art in a way they can relate to it for themselves...That's the whole point of art...

Some people just like Bob Marley for the marijuana...When you say Bob Marley, they think "420" and nothing less...But Bob was more powerful than that...

Et voila...The real source of the hate finally comes out..."But but Biggie this and Biggie that...":pachaha:

Pac did some okay stuff. He then repeated that okay stuff 100x.

I don't dislike him, I just don't think he's the GOAT.

What you talking bout?

Do I have to break it down to you fools?

Brenda's got a baby

If my homie calls

Keep ya head up

Pour out a lil liquor

Me against the world

Dear mama

Temptations

California love

How do you want it

I ain't mad at cha

Hit em up

Hail Mary

Toss it up

Changes

Do 4 love

Need I go on? There's were all singles with very different subject matter.

How is that repeating the same shyt x 100?

I wonder sometimes if you cats actually listen to the music :scust:

And you drive around to Brenda's Got A Baby and If My Homie Calls in 2015?

Right now, today, I would play California Love and Hail Mary from your list. I would add So Many Tears. I am sure there are a few others.

There are only like 3 categories on your list here.
