Yeeeees. Exactly. They always have done, too. It always surprises me how little people associate electronic music with black people when innovation was happening in Detroit and Chicago in the 80s and 90s just as much as London and Berlin. It's not even that black people are involved nowadays... Frankie Knuckles, Jamie Principle, Farley Keith are some of the most respected pioneers in the dancefloor business.

Not to mention the black influence in building Jungle and DnB in the 90s (Rebel MC/Congo Natty, Goldie etc) and then UK Garage and Dubstep in the 00s - if there's one place where we can all stop getting bogged down in race, it's the dancefloor... isn't that the point of ecstasy, afterall?

Yes they are annoying as fukk, and what i find funny about them is that they act like they are so open minded, but yet they know very little off Black music beyond Rap/Modern R&B.

I feel like this is only an issue with 80's babies. 70's babies were born before or around the time hip-hop was born and they fukked with all types of music, and 90's babies are full of new Blacks and are just more open to non hip-hop music in music in general even if it's just a few songs here and there.
