Classical music was made by the Moors though..........even that hill billy banjo(African instrument brought over here during slavery) music was made by black people... so what is "white music"?
actually it was the Egyptians, then the Greeks revived it. It died down...then the Portuguese revived it, then it spread throughout France and the rest of europe like a forest fire.

Yes it was cac. Beethoven was even discriminated against because he was half black(Moor).
LMAO @ me being a cac.

Dumbass classical music that Europeans listen to have roots back to the ROMAN Catholic Church and even as far back as the GREEKS! It had sh*t to do with the Moors. The music that the Moors had was more Islamic/Arab.

This applies to anything that blacks don't do as a majority. I'm sure this breh got a ton of flack for doing Mexican music but it seems like he's eating well.

When it comes to rock, I'll support black artists with no question. Saw Death, Fishbone and Living Colour in 3 straight sets on Friday and was wondering why these brehs never got recognition as talented black rock artists. BET, TVOne and Centric aren't clamoring for someone like Gary Clark Jr who might be the Hendrix of our generation. That might be a spin thread though

Like the nikka Tommy Knocks said it was originally made by the Egyptians, then the Greeks copied it(and everything else) then they gave classical music and everything else they learned from the Egyptians to the Romans..years later the Moors resurrected a lot of ancient Egyptian knowledge and then they restarted and added to the genre.

Now tell me what the hell does the Moors have to do with the Egyptians???? I swear people on the Coli are retarded.

And no the Moors never "resurrected" a lot of the Egyptians knowledge. The Moors is actually a favorite topic of mines, again their music was Arab/Islamic and some non-Islamic indigenous Berber music which has... RHYTHM!

How the hell is this similar to anything like classical music???:martin:

Just look up traditional Berber music...

PS: Your argument is all over the place. We both admit proto classical music the Greeks got from the Egyptians and influenced Europe with it. Yet you try to say Moors resurrected it(which they didn't) and spread it across Europe(who the Moors were only limited to Iberia and Sicily, and the origins of classical Music in Europe come from Greece and mainland Italy), which one is it???

more black people do need to expand their horizons and stop thinking hiphop is the only "black" genre of music and stop calling everything else white music
if you only listen to one specific genre of music, then yeah to be honest you're culturally ignorant. no amount of "you so different" quips will change that.

you honestly can't deny most black people stick to rap and rnb

if you expand out from the usual as a black man slightly, the number of other black faces drops off immensely
