Are there any notable black philosophers? Since I started reading philosophical literature I've never heard of even one

Going way back I think Augustine was North African, but no one ever mentions that.

To add on a few - Angela Davis, Adrian Piper, James Baldwin. Ralph Ellison's "The Invisible Man" is the gateway into black existentialism too. There's more and more philosophers and social academics coming from the African diaspora now, which is about time
Veering off-topic but I remember writing a thesis on critiques of blues music and I was
but no way shocked at its history and mythos being constructed by white thinkers. Spent pages shytting on long-dead white writers
