The original star wars was amazing... why is there so much hate for this series???

It's mostly generational.

Black people younger than say....35 missed that era when scifi and horror were goat. They grew up on BeBe Kids, Boyz in da hood, Poetic Justice, etc.

Also raised in single mother homes without a father or uncle who grew up watching kung fu flicks and horror movies.

so before you fly in here lying saying you had a father or some type of male bond...what type movies did they watch if they don't like scifi?
