much of what was popping in nyc started in boston. north face bubbles. timberlands. starter jackets. we were the originators of that. because of our cold climates and our proximity to certain brands, being in a major metropolitan area, we experimented with a lot of unorthodox styles that were adopted elsewhere.

As far as urban fashion there’s actually differences from city to city even though people swear it’s all the same because of the internet

The majority of hip hop fashion over the last few years is all NYC inspired. Dapper Dan style all over designer print, BB Simon belts, Ralph Lauren white tees, Chrome Hearts, etc. shyt Jimmy and Juelz was doing 10-12 years ago.
