My ex did say nikka once when we first got together. I gave her the coldest stare, struck fear into her soul, she was like "what? ", well thing is, she dated this nigerian for 3 years, africans have a tendency of saying 'nikka' a lot. They think it makes them sound cool and more Americanized, they dont have the same history, in fact Ill be honest I feel a little strange hearing them say it. Its like every other word is nikka, they say the shyt all out of place and it seems forced when I hear it in their coming to america accent. Anyways long story short, I had to explain this too her, then explain that I'm american, not african, that word has way more of an impact to me than it has to them, and every time I hear a non black american say it, my first instinct to rage, so I suggest she erase that word from her vocabulary. She never said the word ever again.
