True but it gets irritating seeing black women take credit for when things go well but when they get criticized all of a sudden they want to point the finger at us. They claim to be the "backbone" of the black community and the black family but when people ask why the single mother households are in such bad shape, they blame the men. But when they have a famous son or a son who wins MVP or some other achievement, they want to be all up in the cameras.

I know my mom will get most of the credit when it comes to me man. my dad left when I was 5 years old. I had a granddad/mom who were there but that's about it bruh. real talk.

also I don't know many black married women with successful children who don't give the dad credit.......
