America is 70% white. They have to bend over and appease to whites to get views and make money. White people aren't ready to hear the truth about how black people really feel about them

We tried to have our own network, BET. What a fukking joke. Full of stereotypes and managed by white people :francis:

Almost everyone on this board works for a white man :heh:

Steven A has said many times he does this shyt for the money :mjlol: anyone who takes him serious :mjlol:

Black people need to create our own media outlets. :francis:

Black folk are the most creative people in the world. We have our own media outlets.
What we need to stop doing is getting our product hot, and then selling it to other folks when it starts to bubble.

To come up in this world/life, you got to have DA BOMB.
If what you got is DA BOMB ish, people are gonna fucc wit' it.
So you have to figure out how to control/protect//produce your product, not sell if for 25 thousand when it could make 25 million.

Ya'll need to chill. I peeped dude's game MONTHS ago and stopped watching immediately. The only time I hear about his tap dancing is when YA'LL talk about it.

Stop supporting a show that openly shyts on us for 2 hours. You're being corny. Not in the same way SAS is, but you are.

I don't think it's that. Sports media, like news media, has a 24 hour news cycle. In order to give it a semblance of freshness there's a requirement for "hot takes" and other angles. This boils down to telling various groups of people what they want to hear. So you have LeBron haters who get a spotlight, or former NFL players who emerge to say stupid (or smart) shyt. Everything has an angle.

Black sports personalities often exist in a realm that is dominated by white viewers and listeners. The problem is that they treat race issues like they treat trivial sports issues. Imagine a First Take segment where Skip argued Hitler wasn't that bad, while Stephen A argued he was the worst dude ever. It would be pathetic, such an important topic can't be turned into a petty conversation right? Yet a lot of sports shows treat race exactly like that.

I don't think Stephen A is a c00n, however I do believe he is very aware that being seen as "objective" on race makes him more popular with mainstream white men. Yea black dudes will get upset but more than a few will agree with him, specifically older black men. So these important issues become trivial when treated like a meaningless sports debate.

BTW that's why I dap Bomani Jones so much, even when I disagree with him. He takes the type of fearless stances that black journalists are told are too dangerous to take. He doesn't give a fukk and doesn't care if a white listener gets upset.
basically this.
but Bomani is a lame.

Yall take these sports commentators too serious.
It would be like if I came home and my girl was mad at TMZ...its fukking TMZ, you dont take that shyt serious.
Same w/ sports commentators...its not serious stuff...so why even think about it?
