It can be messy though, but it's good. The color of the damn thing is brown man. Don't give up yet. Others in here have told you the deal on these kinds of soap. You thought a brown colored soap wouldn't have any residue?

*shrugs* I've been using Dudu Osun for my face for 2 years and have no complaints. Someone put me on to a good Shea butter product to use post shower that won't leave me looking like a glazed donut. I used to use some French brand but the shyt was hella greasy.

Nubian is black & dont leave residue. And that other shyt make my skin dry as fukk

that nubian heritage isn't true african black soap breh, you can see that in the texture of it versus the doo doo soap or the coastal scents one I use. What brand did you get?

I also follow up with this as lotion after washing with the soap if you feel to dry.

I'm about to try some of that Coldlabel King Oil as lotion since I heard good things about it.

That was the coastal one i tried

It can feel like that at first. But if it's too dry on you, follow it up with the shea butter (you can find it real easy at a lot of caribbean spots or asian spots). Much better than lotion.
