Not saying this situation was like that and I don't know the specifics of how that life works, but in general, when my safety is involved that's a risk I'm gonna take 100% of the time.

that’s a Drill Sergeant (has the religious exception to be able to grow that beard) and he’s in scrubs because when this first kicked off the Drills and Cadre that worked at the quarantine barracks wore scrubs. I still don’t understand the logic in that.

I don’t think you understand how easy it is to catch a felony, lose your clearance, and end up in Leavenworth. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze. I have a ccp and Carry all the time but when you are in uniform unless you received permission from the installation CG you aren’t carrying and if you are it’s a quick court martial offense.

if you ever use it, ever show it, ever caught with it while in uniform and on duty that’s your ass. Now you can go directly to the range of course.

I mean people do have weapons. If you live in housing or off post. If you live in the barracks you are supposed to get your weapons in the arms room…I was more so talking about people walking around conducting daily duty.

like if I wanted to go on post right now I would not be able to wear my pistol into any of the installation facilities except for the range (sportsman complex). But off post I just have to obey local laws like no bars or Goverment buildings.

now it is an exception that the installation commander can sign to allow an individual to conceal carry but no CG I’ve ever known would willing sign it as it would be a huge risk.

if you are referring to the felonies I’m being factitious as in considering that whomever was caught with the weapon decided to go to a courts martial. You go to a general court martial and are convicted that is a felony charge. No matter how minor the infractions were if the person chooses to go to a general court martial. Either way like I was saying the squeeze isn’t worth the juice.

don’t play me. I have saw a many of JTACs chewing their subordinates out Army style. I’ve worked with JTACs/TACPs pretty much my whole career….Also when I was in the AF security forces used to chew their subordinates out and I definitely saw it a bit in CE I was readiness/disaster prep but I left the af in 2005 for the army.
