Understood. Half of my family is damn near biracial , mostly due to location(i hope). So I get it. And one of the reasons I never bought this up to my SA friends is cause I expect them to say exactly what you said and I have no quantifiable data to back anything up.....
But you probably need to just be around it to see why I view it differently. In certain instances where a black american would be like South africans really embrace it and even kiss the white person ass even more. People like Malema seem to be in the minority over there.
(sadly SA seem to have more smoke for nigerians and zim refugees than the whites in their country)

You're mixing two groups that aren't even connected.

The people who kiss white "Liberal" ass are mostly fake woke middle class and upper middle class black people.

The small minority who participate in xenophobic attacks are older generation lower income people in the townships. The xenophobic attacks against African nationals have been greatly blown out of proportion and framed by people who hate black South Africans in general to pretend like we all hate African nationals, when 99.99999% of black South Africans have zero problems with foreigners.

but for the record I'm not basing this on "propaganda" . I'm basing it on 20+ yrs of conversation with SA expats who shyt on those groups , in person not thru media, while at the same time holding their white SA spouse hand
Some of those ppl indeed did grow up in townships but many others didn't and went to private schools like mura pula and arrived in the US on full rides at elite colleges
I been hearing southern africans say nigerians ain't shyt and zim are taking jobs since 2005 breh at least, way before any videos or riots cycled on social media

Something you should know about white people is this.

When whites are the MAJORITY of the population, miscegenation is low key accepted and subtlety encouraged. Coz long term they know they will keep whitening the black population and eventually one-drop rule it out of existence...e.g. UK, Canada etc

But when they are the minority, that fear of genetic annihilation goes into overdrive.
In South Africa they are and have always a suoer minority, so they have to procreate with white women maintain the white population.

But given the chance, the average black woman would jump at the chance to be with a "mlungu",... The amount of weaves, white jesus worship, light skin worship amongst SA black woman tells a story.

Yes that's always been the case, but the xenophobia I'm talking about is the killing and looting of the stores etc
That is few and far in between.

I do agree with you though, but do remember the same guy who hates Zim and Nigerian blacks, also hates black South Africans from the townships and rural areas, you're just seeing ONE facet of their self hatred and focusing in on it, instead of realizing that you're dealing with an around c00n
