This is the wrong way to approach it, violence is never the answer and that's what they want, you give them all the power and validation when you react in a crazy and violent manner, he should have reported to the principal and school authorities and if problem continued filed a lawsuit or sought out legal counsel.
Now he can lose his job and income and the kid will go about calling the next teacher the n word too.
They want us to react violently and cause a scene, thats what they live for and want, we should not give that satisfaction to these people

I had a friend that used to sub that had something like this happen to him. Apparently he clowned the student until he cried and then had him tossed out by security. Knowing him, he probably went in on him too. Dude would bring out every "yo momma" joke in existence if you annoyed him enough.

I've actually met him. Cordial but yeah, he always seems like he's seconds from popping you, especially when he's upset.

95% of the posts in here are going on and on about 'teaching profession'. Dude is a substitute. Half the folks on that list won't even pick up the phone to come in. They are gonna tell the parents dude was disciplined....wait 2 weeks and start asking him to come in again. Kid will be too shook to say anything about it.
