Some of your may have saw the original post but here is the update.

I was pretty damn close to commiting that back in August.

I lost a temp/contract job over politics, corporate greed and bullshyt.

I had a temp job because the oil industry job I had originally laid me off and there are literally no good jobs in my city now.

I spent my days putting in apps, pretty much stopped talking to my friends because I didn't want them to feel bad for me.

Well the update is...
All those days of putting in app after app I finally started getting hit up left and right for interviews.

It got to the point I ended up having 4 options of what job I could sign with.

I'm now gonna be working for a HUGE Fortune 500 company making more money than I've ever made.

My primary objective at this point in time is to LIVE BELOW MY MEANS.

No unnecessary expenses and no luxury items.

Im focused on building up a serious savings account on top of 401k investing.

I will never forget what the bottom feels like, and I will do all I can to make sure any worker around and under me is always treated with respect and humanity.

*Last but not least it was a BLACK MAN WHO HIRED ME! I'm going to make damn sure that this brother never regrets giving a helping hand.

Only on The Coli can a story that says 'I wanted to commit suicide, but didn't and ultimately - I landed a great job and I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel' have a shyt comment from somebody. I fukk with The Coli, but weeding through the idiots makes it hard from time to time.

I remember your original thread. I was going to wait a while and if you really stopped activity, I was going make a thread about you to see if you really commit that. I was worried it would be TOO savage in how i would word it so I was on the fence
