Like not to be a dikk but damn near all of these things are pretty much your doing making it your fault.....IDK how old you are but if your over the age of 21-22 then I don't feel too much sympathy.
95% of your problems seem to come from either a lack of financial awareness and your pride.
Like you even had plenty of times to make new threads and hundreds of post during the month you were "broke/homeless/no internet/no money/job hunting"
The coli should be the last of your worries if you were really going thru all of what you claim to have been. I wouldn't have visited another site if it didn't have anything to do with getting me my next check. Sounds like to me you were wishing instead of working for your next job.

I'll address this point by point.
You said me losing my job is of my own doing. That's 100% incorrect. It's only so much I can say because I don't want to leave clues that will reveal my identity but I'll try to give you a time line.
2015 I lose my career job.
Unemployed for about 3 months receiving unemployment. Meanwhile 50% of every person that I know in my are is also laid off because we were all connected to the oil industry. Men and women.
In 2015 I catch a very high paying temporary contract job with a company not connected to oil. That job lasts for 3 months before they have cut backs and ALL the Temps and contract workers are let go.
So I'm unemployed again.
Find a lower paying part time job next and I relentlessly apply for other jobs.
I'm at that job for 4 months.
I find a 6 month contract (that has poddibility for full time hire) that pays HIGH.
I get in there and find out that the 6 month contract was a lie it really was only 5-6 weeks and although I've busted my ass for 5-6 weeks the job opening for permanent position has been put on hold due to market/business reasons.
I leave there within a week I find a job out of state. The manager looks me right in my eyes and tells me that they start everyone off as a temp/contract worker initially but that between 1 month to 3 months I'd be made full time and hired permanently.
This was a complete lie.
I started that gig and found out the whole department heard the same sales pitch/lie and they been waiting a year for benefits and proper pay.
Toward the end of the 3 months.
My manager comes to me and tells me that I won't be hired as promised in the time frame as promised and they ask me if I'm going to stay now that I know I've been lied to?
I answer that "I'm hoping things work out for the original agreement"
The contract agency starts calling the company asking questions on my behalf because they are basically in breach of contract with the agency.
Long story short they were trying to finesse the agency. The agency wasnt going for it and the contract agency and my job ended their relationship and I was out of a job again.
This time around there is no unemployment.
I have no savings because I've been climbing out of debt from the original layoff still.
You can say what you want about my financial responsibility but I had bills when I was working and I paid all those bills.
On unemployment I could not pay all those bills. On a reduced income I couldn't pay all those bills. You do what you can until you run out of money.
My entire part of the state is fukked up.
I got laid off in the first wave.
Now there's been a 2nd and 3rd wave of massive regional layoffs.
Nobody black that I know who was in the industry is still in the industry.
We all got fukked.
Even whites are struggling.
I posted on the Coli because I always posted on The Coli.
Me chillin on The Coli didn't hinder my job search I applied for well over 100 jobs in a 2 month time span. But the first month I can say that I literally didn't get a call or interview. It was ice cold because there were SO MANY PEOPLE OUT OF A JOB AND LOOKING.
I know guys married with kids haven't worked in 9 months.
Depending on their wives to hold down the fort.
I know guys with kids who haven't contributed to their children financially in a year.
The city is fukkED.
