Wiser action wouldve been to deal with the source of the problem. Messican dude was clearly acting out and feeding off the attention of his peers; so dealing with his class first (by dismissing the other students from the room or by ridiculing the kid to his peers) wouldve easily diffused the situation and deprived mexican dude of the motivation to keep going. We all know he wouldn't be acting buck if he was by himself.


The way i see it, id compare this to defeating predator (bear/lion/tiger) by poisoning its food source; instead of fighting it directly from a disadvantageous position. There are better solutions to these problems.
