No guidance breh. Willing to bet the father wasn't around. I keep telling people, everything starts at home. People keep talking about group economics blah blah, while its important , if the home is not right/ father not around at all. You'll keep getting this. I've seen it over and over. and somehow its the least talked about topic on here. People keep talking about where we should be spending our money, don't get it.

My 22yr old cousin passed away saturday from drugs, guess what? His mother was a junkie, father wasn't around and raised by our grandmother. same story over and over( just like in this video, looks like only the grandmother was there ).

100% right about it all starting at home. 90% of the time when one of my cousins does some crazy shyt, its the cousins with a fukked up home life. my mother's brother has 4 kids with a disgusting wench of a woman. she fought for custody and got it, and now that she has it she is pretty much running for worst mother of the year award. she abandons her kids to fend for themselves for daysss on end while she goes off with a different boyfriend every month.

meanwhile, her oldest daughter has turned into a wench herself plus she has tried to kill herself and does the whole cutting herself thing. her oldest boy is in a gang, her youngest boy gets suspended all the time from school for acting out and fighting. only one of her kids is relatively stable, but she's way over involved in the church to the point she sounds scary sometimes with her piety (she's only 15). these kids are just 17, 15, 13, and 10 and have emotional problems because of a broken home.

How did he get hold of a gun in a juvenile detention center?

He ran away from home, police pick him up at a bus station and take him straight to juvey?

He was reported missing by his family and the police didn't even check the missing kids register when they found him?

He was wrong, and deserves a punishment suitable to his crime BUT there is a lot wrong with this picture.

Yup. I always knew how important home was, but it never really hit me until I had my son. Kids look to the parent for everything. My son literally asks me questions all day. Now imagine when nobody is there to answer those questions? I mean a father is basically superman to his son.

He's your brother whether or not you acknowledge that fact. If your brother is insane his family is part of the problem.

They no longer have mental institutions like they did back in the day. They just throw all the crazy people in prison.

You can't make money by throwing people into mental institutions.

Privatized prisons = $$$$

Especially wen it costs $65,000+ to jail one person for a year.

A damn shame if you ask me breh.

yeah...it all starts with the family at the end of the day.

I can only be thankful I have such great parents who looked out for me and my siblings...if it wasn't for them who knows where I'd be.

and I think it's funny how some heads laugh at me for skateboarding for ages...that kept me out of trouble and I'm thankful for it. If that made me an oreo, dip me in milk and serve me with french vanilla ice cream. LOL!

No he's not at all :to:. He needs psychiatric help, not 50 yrs in prison (not dismissing what he did) :snoop:,
Obvious mental illness.

WE know how it is already. Black people don't get the privilege of having their mental health taken into consideration when it come to criminal court cases. i.e. the benefit of the doubt

It's "he was a thug" "he was a product of his environment" and whatever disparaging sentiments can be mustered towards the defendant (who's treated like a plaintiff who is guilty before being seen as guilty).

With that said, yes...we need to stay on the right side of the law...but what happens when you do that and the law doesn't work in your favor? That's where the nature of this outrage stems from. The fact that you can be innocent but still be seen as guilty because you're black. It's hypocritical of a system that's supposed bring justice...but then again, we know the game is rigged. So why just say "that's just how it is" and basically promote and not challenge it's inequality by default?
