It doesn’t necessarily need “bangers”. If you’re familiar with The Roots’ catelogue, their stuff is more introspective. If he does plan on dropping a solo record, I hope it’s along the lines of his music with The Roots for sure.

I know tariq's original solo lp ended up morphing into a good chunk of phrenology so i'm interested in hearing what he comes up with now.

the tracks that didn't end up on that roots lp were all dope so this should be as well.

at this point though, i'm just hoping the roots drop something soon, Quest been talking about working on a new album for at least 2 years now...
