Rapsody is what we call in Jamaica an iron balloon. She's never gonna pop (blow up, buss whatever you wanna call it). 9th has found ways to sneak her on everything he's been involved with for the past 8 years. It's not working nobody is checking for her, except 9th.

And speaking of 9th, back in the day 9ths beats used to carry rappers, now black thought is carrying 9ths beats. Best beat on the album was produced by Khrysis.

Decent album tho, black thought is a beast.

Khrysis has always been in the shadows with BANGERS ... never got the big placements .


But yeah Thought OBLITERATED this shyt ... after every line I’m like


...as another poster said, he carried the beats, which are still solid...but 9th has kinda lost a lil step on the boards low key.

Nottz should lace him tho.

For real, this was my most hyped album because the singles were amazing.

Turns out the singles were the only good songs in this heap of trash. So disappointing.

Thought brought his A game. 9th brought his C game. And the mixing is terrible. Thought's vocals sound all muddy. 9th gotta do better on the next one. This would be acceptable for one of his jamla scrubs, but this is black thought. You wanna work with a legend you gotta lace him with classics.

You're coming to the same realization I did that while Black Thought is a very nice rapper, surprisingly little of what he says actually stands out because most of his verses just blend together.

That Flex freestyle couldn't have been more overrated
