im curious as to the convos leading up to this, how did they get him to FINALLY drop something with his name on it? after 25 years

i know my old heads remember he was working heavily with Japanese producer DJ Krush and was supposed to have a solo around 01

(only posted the instrumental cuz it has the pic i wanted)

Yeah, masterpiece theater was his solo lp that he scrapped for some reason and part of it ended up on phrenology. I was always disappointed that he never put it out especially since I remember he said he was gonna have some crazy collabs on there like a joint with monch.
