I cut my own hair - i ain't got time to be sitting in some dusty ol ass non-health compliant shop, worrying if the clippers and blades been disinfected because the guy before me look like he got the monster and no telling what type of hygiene that barber has since his hands are so close to your face and the fact you waiting for over two hours to get your shyt lined up and it's always a game of "who's waiting for who"

I've been to a few black barbers, male and female that use a blade. Old school cats use old school tools

spanish barbers are way more versatile, they deal with different hair textures on a daily basis....so I mess with them. Most black barbers can only cut black hair.

i have ever only cut my hair with black barbers twice, and both times was a bad experience. the first time, i think dude wasnt even a barber and just said fukkit and gave it a shot. didnt work out .

the second time, i went to levels in 125th in harlem. homey did a crisp job and i was impressed, but then he tried to charge me $30 for that shyt. he musta thought i was a tourist. we haggled a little and i ended up saying fukkit and giving him $25 cause i was in a rush, but i never went back. yea im a cheap b*stard.

dominican barbers are a dime a dozen in manhattan. some of them suck, some of them are hairline magicians. the last guy i went to was in 207 and he was amazing. i dont usually go to barbers cause i shave my own head but if i have an event to go to and i want my beard looking perfect, he's the one from now on.

I've been to both. Best barber I ever had was a Cuban dude that used to live in my old hood. He got murked though

My barber now is Grenadian, and he's the truth.

It depends, if you really want a good cut you gotta be willing to experiment though. Dont' commit to one barber, until you know he's the truth. I don't even wait in lines or go to the shop. He's on call for me.

If I dont cut my own hair I goto this Dominican barber. I get a clean crisp cut, he don't push my hairline back, trim up thebeard or goatee. They use razors and tweezers on my face to get ingrown hairs out my face. I just have to endure the use of the n-word in spanish barber shops
