it's always that one muthafukkaI don't really need to get along with management as long as they know what they are doing. I've had 3 female managers and one knew what she was doing. We weren't "cool" but at least when I came to her for questions she had the correct answers or could at least point me in the right direction.
Them other two hoesThe one was an older black lady and her group (All 3 of us not including her) had to take over a SQL coding project and I was the only one that knew SQL which instantly made me the "senior" or go-to person. She HATED that. Wanted me to document every single solitary thing and hand it over to her.
How am I supposed to train the team on basic sql, do the work AND document it for you? Needless to say that lead to "performance issues" on my part but no one found issue with her not even being qualified for her job.

I messed up with the director of my group recently. She is this fiiiiiiiiine lil vietnamese woman and I've liked her since her first day. So I'm at the coffee machine and I'm making my coffee and I didn't see her coming my way....she comes up to me and surprises me and says "Wow...your coffee is more creamer than coffee haha"
Stupid me all nervous and trying not to look stupid or stare at her body or do something dumb chokes up and says....
"Yeah, I like my coffee like I like my women...light and creamy"
(Where the hell that came from I don't know...I think I saw it on a tv show or movie)
She just looked at me like
and walked away.I've been kicking myself ever since. Now she probably thinks I only like cac females and god help me if she told anyone else. I'm up the shyt creek without a paddle.
She hasn't said a word to me outside of meetings since that day...we used to go hiking together sometimes and always talked around the office.
I messed up.
