We need black men in families to settle disputes. Don't call the cops. Call your uncle or someone.

We also need black adults to act like adults when disputing with one another. The 'bust the windows out yo car' mindset needs to be eased out of the community consciousness. It's not just men who need to stop laying hands -- women also need to stop laying hands.

Only then can we go the Hasid route and never call the cops for nothing but handle shyt internally.

Sounds like this case is the reason why cops don't like to deal with domestic abuse calls in the first place. Still this could have been resolved without shooting her. They can take down armed white boys with tasers and calm talk, they can do the same thing with black women.

As for why this isn't getting coverage: coverage happens when you're on the inside and can direct what stories get feed. Keep pushing the story and worry about the non-support of black men and attention-switching antics of white women later.
