She makes a lot of excellent points, but what is a black woman supposed to do?

Her point about men being unable to find employment and opportunities and black mothers working all the time and not nurturing their children. Why can't the fathers nurture their kids? Yes, most women are going to choose welfare; food and shelter over a man that CAN'T provide it. It's not that you don't need a man, but you can't hold up your progress looking for one. The issues that black men face are well understood and I'm empathetic, but things still have to get done.

Exactly, Black American women actually need feminism more than other women. Black American men dont have the wherewithal to protect or provide, not saying it's all or even mostly their fault, but it's fact still.

The only thing I disagree with is the abortion part. Every chick that I know that had an abortion still went and had a kid later.... They just waited until they felt they were ready. So it's kind of a reach to say that it's destroying the community. It's not like women who have an abortion will never have a kid again
