It was essentially the "mike brown" episode, Shonda made Olivia's character confront her own blackness vs. her job...the activist brother gave her that work tools.

So I am confused; does the coli have a problem with interracial relationships or not? On the one hand guys say that love sees no colour it's about compatibility but on the other hand anything that features a black woman with a non black man is considered a sacrilege.

Scandal is a tv show....why is it an issue? Aren't there black men in interracial relationships on TV so why is scandal the big elephant in the room?
