Personally I'm not one of these new dudes but this is how I see it:
Drake is more real than Too $hort at some point. His position is more sustainable. p*ssy run the world. Get down or lay down. Drake is still doing what he wants to do but when he meets the right girl he knows he is going to have to fight i.e. love her right. There is a reason p*ssy run things.
Too Short and Drake are both eventually gonna be semi-forgotten, old, fat and flabby sitting around a tv with some old bytch or maybe alone or just with homies. Now do you want that old bytch to be your girlfriend that you met at the bar a few months ago and is some old unwed spinster nag or do you want that old woman to be your wife that you been building up and building something with for the past 25+ years. Some of yall need to put the egos aside and just realize what is the healthier choice in the long run. 10 kids by 5 different baby mommas over the years (or worse - no kids and a bunch of using and getting used), or 3 kids with a woman that you held down through the insecurity and bullshyt until you got something spiritually gratifying to keep you improving all the way up until you die.
I seen my Grandfather wither up and pass on. We visited him a lot as it started going downhill health-wise. There was nothing more important to him than his wife (my Grandmother) who he'd been with for over 60 years. You can't make that stuff up on the fly with new bytches along the way. It's on a whole other level. My gpa went in peace from this world, and his wife had a whole lot to do with that process into the afterlife.
Being a playa is fleeting and portraying it any other way is perpin.
