Women do most of the caretaking in American families so how does this even make sense to these dudes?

My sisters hang out with my mother, they go to church together occasionally.
One of my sisters just went on vacation with her daughter.

It's the Black men that are isolated.

But no one wants to actually come out and say that!

They keep talking about women, but this is all because MEN are going to be alone.
So how are men going to help change things aside from telling women they’re going to be alone?

And don’t get me wrong —both sexes need to improve!— but we’re talking about what women need to do. How come there’s no talk of what “modern men” need to do to help usher things along?

This is all projection. There's empirical evidence that Black men are the ones who die alone. Black women have friends. Even when they don't have a husband or kids, they become aunties or surrogate mothers to their friends' kids. They go to church, they participate in social groups. Black men don't. Not sure why.

My sister is a nurse in Texas; she said that this is, unfortunately, true.

I’m a nurse too and can confirm. Don’t get me wrong there are some women that are left on their own but I mostly see it with men. No one coming to visit them in nursing homes, needing to have clothes donated to them because they don’t have family to bring them stuff, nurses “adopting” patients on Christmas so they get gifts, they have conservators instead of responsible parties.

While women married or not, children or not have church friends, former coworkers, life long friends, that one cousin that they were always close too, family etc.
