I don't agree with the notion of Black women not having kids anymore, since that in itself is detrimental, in terms of the community, and repopulating but I will say this...

Some guys get a woman pregnant to “trap/claim ownership” of them the same way some women do to men they get pregnant by.

The whole “Baby Mama/Baby Daddy” thing in some ways is an example of this due to knowing that by having a kid with this person, for the next 18 years, you both are stuck together, maybe not in a relationship but in the sense that neither one of you can go your separate ways, as the child is going to keep you two in contact, one way or another, unless y'know you're a scummy individual who doesn't care about the child.

The point is that both sides are guilty of this mentality.

This may apply to some guys, but when it comes to using a baby to have the other partner "settle down" , it's usually the other way around. Like 9/10 times.

She doesn’t mean men trapping women into relationships; she means men who purposely try to slow a woman down.
For example, you may know a nice girl who plans to attend law school. She ends up dating some guy you know is no good, but she’s green and falls for game easily. Gets knocked up and thinks they will “make it work”, but he drops her and is on to the next.

You have to be a dumb ass bytch to let a man who has nothing going on in life get you pregnant.

Either you also had nothing going on (vast majority of cases) or you fell for the words and let a man talk you out of the panties. He had to TALK you out of them since by your own admission these men have nothing going on and see pregnancy as a means of improving their station in life.

Getting your life in order AFTER you have a baby doesn’t make you better than the man who had nothing going on alongside you when yall got pregnant. Pregnancy and motherhood has a way of forcing women to get their life in order. Doesn’t work the same for men hence why it’s important to make sure he has something going on BEFORE you get pregnant.

This sounds like women having buyers’ remorse and swearing off purchasing again because they were sold a lemon. If it had worked out and she got pregnant by a good dude she’d have given him 3* kids.
