That's to be expected, primarily because those forms of media are geared towards white males and females.

"Black Media" however small, is primarily focused on black women in terms of beauty, love interests etc.

I know, I'm definitely with you. Expecting white people to positively depict black folks in their media is just silly.

White culture is the dominant culture though so that's what TS is getting at most likely.
