She does make positive music, it doesn't negate the fact that she also makes music that does more harm then good. And nah, posters on here go in on dudes that cheat too. There was a thread last week or so where the OP's chick left him cause he cheated, everyone told him it's his fault and that they have no sympathy for him.and what about all the positive songs she makes? Is she still catering to them?you guys act like she makes no positive music.
And what's wrong with playing music you can relate to? Idk why men make it a bad thing for women to be hurt when someone hurts them. I will literally never understand that. A dude cheats and yall shyt on the woman.you dudes quote "bytches aint shyt" all day long and live by #hoh and no one says shiy but if a woman sings a beyonce song she's bitter lonely and single.
I've never had a bad break up but I still blast Sorry, I was just listening to it in the car with my husband. Lmao

A lot of her songs are about sadness and being hurt as a result of men doing her wrong. That plus having a victim mentality when it comes to relationships is harmful. How many women out here talking about all men are cheaters or men ain't shyt, Beyonce's music strengthens that ideology that is obviously rooted from a place of failed past relationships. How is leaving a no good man harmful?
You guys are acting like she's saying leave your good man that treats you right. I have literally never been harmed by a beyonce song and I've been listening to her since I was a child.

"my name is no"Pretty much, her stans get all up in they feelings when you mention she ain't in the same tier as MJ/Prince etc/Great entertainer
Mediocre artist
And Jay Z wrote Big Pimpin and he is now married with a kid
Does that mean he lied and betrayed all the men?
Y'all read too much into artists' songs![]()

There's a reason why many of us growing up had the notion that men were the cheaters and women are only sweet angels that can do no wrong. Because of the constant barrage of music from women about how some dude dogged her out. Beyonce, Rihanna, Ciara, keyshia cole, alicia keys etc just to name a few all have made many songs like this.
But that notion cannot be farther from the truth. Women cheat just as much as men and do wrong too.
you're acting like men have never cheated plenty of women have been cheated on so they can relate to the music.
Who's going into a frenzy? This thread is about Beyonce and her music, not other artists. I never said those artists music aren't harmful. My first reply to you said that mainstream music in general is harmful so I don't know what you are getting at. And like I said before, still doesn't negate the fact that her music is harmful. That is untrue there are PLENTY of songs out about cheating women and with men shytting on women and there are songs that men made about them cheating (Tank, usher, future, r.kelly, mario, etc) Usher made a whole album about his cheating and that was one of his best selling albums. Yet no one says usher is "harmful". He talks about getting his sidechick pregnant and that's fine but beyonce talks about leaving a man that isn't treating her right and she's a horrible role model. lmao
And people have the notion that men are cheaters because they are cheatersyou're acting like men have never cheated plenty of women have been cheated on so they can relate to the music.
There's more than enough music about shytty women. Calling women hoes and bytches, saying don't trust women, telling men to smash and dash on women, I don't see yall complaining about that. But when beyonce says "I cried my tears for 3 good years you can't get mad at me" you guys go into a frenzy.![]()

You ain't even debating the topic at hand, you going with "male entertainers do it too" but that doesn't prove what I said to be wrong. I never justified music that rappers or male rnb artists push out.

Ight then point me to 5 well known songs about women cheating on men by male artists. You only see songs about men cheating on women and how he regrets it and wants her back. Those songs cater to women as well, and push that same agenda that I mentioned earlier. You brought up other artists![]()

lmao
and you said that people have a belief that only men cheat as if only women (or Beyonce?) make songs about cheating, so I listed other artists to show you that everyone makes music about cheating because people (men and women) can relate to it. Talking about leaving people that do you wrong isn't "harmful" even if that's all Beyonce sung about, that would never be harmful. But honestly, I'm done with this, if you think it's harmful to sing about leaving someone that treats you badly and finding someone that's good for you, then fine, you're entitled to your own opinion.
