You don't even need to do all that. You don't have to exalt us as queens. Just look at us as fellow human beings who ALSO deal with the effects of white supremacy. Most of the men on here CAN'T EVEN DO THAT. Then they wonder why we are where we are.

The reason we can't love ourselves and reach our full strength, as men, is because we are ignorant to the plights of our others (That's you).

But you, sister, I understand your anger. Just understand that the black men you're angry at are also victims like you and they don't always know it. As angry as you are, we gotta also be willing to guide and communicate with each other. Actually communicate.

this is why I get so mad when white people try to "tell us how to feel, get over it, why do you always wanna talk about race"

cus we live it and can't escape it, we don't just hear about it. my family and friends pain is my pain so when they tell stories of how they get treated by the cops or white people I feel it and relate. it's tiring but its the reality
