Are you not? You see people profiting off the blood, sweat, and pain of your people while they've ignored your plights for centuries and your fuse ain't lit?

Nope. And you don't get to dictate what an "ounce of self respect" is...no one does.

That being said; personally I'm happy. I don't really feel "oppressed " in the least bit...for the most part, I've accepted my failures and my successes as attributes of my own doings.

White supremacy built our community on a foundation of poverty and generations of poverty have, unfortunately, fostered a very selfish mindset in us as people.

We're so focused on trying to get out of the grind house of poverty that we don't focus on our community as a whole.

This is by design. This is what poverty does to people. That mentality begins to bleed into our everyday interactions which is why you got fakkits like @Doobie Doo saying "get over depression" and stupid shyt.

That's why we need to be more willing to communicate and empathize with each other.
