The same social/economic Status who was provided by white men to white women.

To conclude, If you ever hear black women talking about European beauty standards, it’s a guarantee they hate black men and white women, but they themselves want access to rich white men.
It’s because the white beauty standards affect all other groups that were enslaved or colonized by the European to this day.
Plenty of groups —outside of Black Americans— believe light skin, light features are better/more appealing and that goes back to the influence of European standards.
Indians and East Asians bleach their skin, white girls who are brunettes/red heads dye their hair blonde and wear blue contacts, etc all to fit into the ultimate white woman beauty standard- blonde hair, blue eyes.
Personally, I don’t care about white women or what white men prefer.
What bothered ME was Black men who looked like ms telling me to my face how much they preferred light skinned girls, but because I was pretty they wanted to date me anyway. My skin color made me an automatic NO for some brehs, but because they liked my nose bridge I was acceptable.
There’s a reason negros turn their nose up at women who have the same complexion as them.
