I'm going to be honest, I don't know too many black people with pets. Not necessarily because they're anti-pets/animals but because they're pretty expensive. Especially in the hood I grew up in. My entire childhood I knew maybe 3 folks with a dog.

Like for me, I'm not anti cat or dog but I'm not obsessed with them either

I don't know about op post though loool. . Definitely northern vs southern thing, cause of imagine a lot of people living in the south more likely to have pets
