Female children in GENERAL are more coddled and tend to be more likely to grow up entitled regardless of race. We assume girls need more protection and are more sensitive so we put more resources into making them comfortable and protecting them.
Boys grow up being told that nobody gives a fukk about your feelings and you need to get tougher when life gets tough.

Low key a lot of people from older generations have a resentment towards today's children. Mainly because kids pretty much get whatever they want from their parents. A luxury they did not have when they were coming up.
Personally, I have no problem with "spoiling", as long as they are well-mannered, responsible, and respectful of others, and do well in school.
14 year-old Brianna has 5 A's and 3 B's, keeps her room clean, washes dishes without being told, and doesn't talk back.....asks you to get her those new Jordan's that come out in 2 weeks.

Besides, most of these kids turn out fine anyway.
