How old are we talking? Because a lot of old brehs on this site are an example of thisHe's right old nikkas let Asians, Arabs and hipsters take over their communities.
It’s a terrible thing because at its core they are entertainers just like rappers. It also fuels parasocial relationships which leds to more awkward back hunched over dweebs who can’t hold a two minute irl conversation. It’s moving over to streamers. Idk if that’s better or worse though
really society has transitioned into a hyper superficial mindset but whatever affects the world affects Black People the worstProblem is, black life in the last 25 years been taken over by high end superficial shyt. The idea of having a 9-5 and a college education is 'lame' and 'swagless' and far too many black folk think that life is just one major music video where partying and fukkery is the ideal lifestyle. Materialistic black folk feel like temporary embarrassed millionaires that are forced to live in a basic lifestyle and hate the idea that they can never drive a high end car like a Rolls Royce or travel to exotic destinations and party like Puffy in 1997.
IG, you can forget it. The average black person looks like they make 400k a year and stay partying and stunting.
The idea of being "real" is legit one of the worst things to ever happen to black people especially men in the last 50 years. Its the main reason they're black kids who grow up middle class with both parents and still end up in prison/dead or a single mother because they wanted to be "down". Seen this my whole life.He isn't lying, unfortunately. Its not unlike being a square all our lives even when we came from the same background but the POS who did dirt for years and turned his life around gets love for being "real." For a subset of folks, sense can't be told.
But they’re not outside committing crimes like that. They can hold conversations, are they compelling is another story. How old are we talking? Because a lot of old brehs on this site are an example of this

sounds like an old stream but still applies
How much longer will the mythos of rappers being the apex of Black Manhood last?
