So, it's my fault that I voted for Stein because Hillary didn't fit my views? We can't blame those people the blame solely is on the candidate and the corporate players who baked her.

Look, a lot of you refuse to accept why there are two parties. Its not because of law. Its game theory and how votes are counted.
The only way to change this is to change how congress works via a constitutional amendment.

Bernie, Trump and the Tea Party have shown you don't need to start a political party to effect change. We don't have time to start this party. We need to hit the ground running. Democrats are WEAK right now. Neoliberalism has a stank on it. shyt is wide open.
Plus starting this party would put a target on it and any agenda associated with it. The right hates any kind of program they feel takes from them and gives to minorities. Running under the Democrat ticket makes it easier to make programs for us look like they are for everybody.
We have to be shrewd and subversive as fukk..... present proposals in a way that makes them look beneficial to everybody or even just white people. That kind of shyt is the only way we will make political headway

At the local level I feel we need to stop focusing on cacs and just work to fortify ourselves. They just elected a pretty open cac nationalist to the highest office in the U.S.
In primarily black districts there is absolutely no need for a new party. All we have to do is pit the two options against each other and choose whoever is more willing to carry out our agenda
In mixed areas there is no way someone representing a black political party is getting elected. We have to use other means.
I also hate that what have democrats done for blk peoole. LBJ did a lot. Obama and co tried, but the Republicans blocked everything. We'll see what Trump does for blk people.
The democrats in 2009 and 2010 had the president, the house, and the senate. They literally could've done whatever they wanted

They had Lieberman to prevent them from doing whatever they wanted. Having control and having enough votes to pass legislation is different. Thats why health care legislation took so long.
And from those 2yrs the unemployment rate drooped. Even among african americans. Imagine if he had 4 or 6yrs of a majority.

Third parties don't work in America, it's just the way it's setup.
First we all need to hijack the Democratic party and push all the shills out the same way the Tea Party moved in on the GOP. Except we hopefully won't elect idiots.
If all goes well down the road we can get to a point where a progressive wing sweeps governments and we can call for things like removing money and lobbying from the system and ranked choice voting to open things up in politics.
We have to be pragmatic about this, it's gonna take awhile. But we won't be pragmatic like the current DNC and come at things weak and get payed by Wall Street to be whipping boys for the GOP. Come from a place of strength so people can't ignore your message but understand that you gotta work within the system.
