He's quiet, reserved and calculated. Which gets translated by some as what you described. Funny, I felt Wilt was in the same boat as Kareem in a way.

we know this but still it's like multiple owners got together and said we will sgn anyone but them.

possibly.... but usually the "blackballing" comes at a time when certain players are on the decline and their skills are deteriorating.

It's their league and they have a right to do that

There's no rule saying they have to sign the most talented players.

I wouldn't be surprised if owners got together behind closed doors and agreed to something like that

Then why was he denied work by the NBA too many times? He spoke on this too. There is a HBO Real Sports doc on him as well as other docs where he speaks on being blackballed.
