The black experience in America is wholly diff from any other minority. It's very disingious to say shyt like other immigrants been coming up while ignoring the despicable past of cacs stifling black success even in within the last 100 or even now to some extent.

It hasn't even been a lifetime since shyt like Jim Crow or Black Wall Street.
Any apparent wide black success used to get snuffed out. Over bs reasons.

I'm just saying recent history can't be forgotten.

Even Byron Allen had to sue over 7+ TV corporations for racial discrimination just to get his shyt on their channels.

Not only that we don't even take into account that many of these immigrants that set up shop are some of the brightest from their country. Often times are given money by wealthy folks and government folks from their countries to come to america and open up spots.

Not to mention the loans they get from banks in america or the fact that the poor black communities are vulnerable to predators. The white folks and others won't even allow these same folks to open businesses in their communities but are happy to allow them (through finances and loans) to open a business in poor black folks communities.

Last black folks bytching is legit. 1 because american has purposely put black folks at the bottom of the totem pole and everyone is allowed to take advantage of us. Plus since capitalism is always about taking advantage of folks at the bottom......so it in itself that leaves no one for black folks to take advantage of but IE black folks to make a come up.

Black americans and black folks who are decendents of slaves all across the world are vulnerable because they are a group of people with no country. So they have no ultimate bargaining chip like all these other so called immigrants.

I disagree with some of the recent comments regarding business success of immigrant groups versus Americans.

Outsiders coming in and opening businesses in Black communities in USA, Caribbean, and parts of Africa also.

Usually Arabs, Indians, and east Asians.

Members from these other places can chime in and cosign it or dispute it.

It's a pretty complex issue and I think people are simplifying it. Lot of these immigrants are from the merchant class of their countries, they have DIRECT connections to where a lot of these products are manufactured, and they are building on the backs of past merchants from their homes countries and their contacts.

Having said all that, our overall attitudes about education and entrepreneurship is one big L, that we are feeling the effects of over and over. Our priorities are fukked up.
People who talk about one(what immigrants are doing) without the other (what we aren't doing)are burying their heads in the sand..and setting up our next generation to be under the thumbs of the next wave of immigrants...Straight up.
