For example: The dude in the OP might say something like, if a black man doesn't have a job it's because he's lazy. While if we actually look at the stats. Unemployment is double for blacks than whites if they're on the same level. When both have a HS Diploma, both have a college degree etc. Obviously more at play here than just "laziness"

So isn't it blacks responsibility to create their own opportunities and success? There are black people who have overcome their difficulties, so why do the ones who sit back and not take charge of their lives as opposed to disrespecting their communities get justification?Someone who believes that everything is the fault of blacks without questioning the conditions. I ask these questions a lot: Is this a problem of poverty or blacks who happen to be poor? Why aren't there grief counselors or mentors to talk to young men during traumatic situations? Some white dude told a coworker of mine how suburban students in Chicago get 20 grief counselors for 1 school during a crisis compared to 1 going to 3-5 schools in poor black neighborhoods.

I'm not justifying the actions of those who don't "pull themselves up by the bootstraps" at all. Problem is black crime isn't seen as just "this individual committed a crime", it's seen as an indictment of blacks in general. I wish that I had the answers and could solve these issues with the snap of my fingers but I don't. God knows it's frustrating for me to go back to the old neighborhood and cats are still doing the same shyt as they were when we were teenagers

!" Poverty isn't a reason to commit crimes, FOH. Unbelievable. Black men get called c00ns for having different opinions, or dating out of the race. But yet Black people who physically harm other Black people don't get called c00ns! Any Black person who harms another Black person over petty shyt is the definition of a "c00n" in my book.
