BM/WW relationships don't need a media push and you know it. There are readily available BM and WW who want to date each other, the only reason the BW/WM have a media push is simply because it's an anomaly and doesn't happen as often. So of course they gotta push that in the media more than BM/WW. I'm not even defending IR relationships or the black people that do it but sometimes you have to call a spade, a spade.

It's harder to have each other's back, when men can't be breadwinners and women have to take up both roles at less pay and less opportunity. I was just saying the relationships are not an anomaly. They exist. The media is not largely the only place where it happens. The only difference is the things you write above. I guess it's a push in a positive direction to show media depictions of black women as Primary love instead of Secondary love or Paid Party. Except that's not what's happening, either. It's more like, what was happening in the dark is brought out in the light and people are acting like they just witnessed the birth of a unicorn. I'd still rather see black women and men in Black Love because they love each other and not because they're the only option for each other when they are depicted.

The men who approach me about 85-90% of the time are white. I am approached by Latinos but not as often here in AZ as I was in CA (don't know why though). Black guys usually either look/admire then keep it moving or completely ignore me. Sorry but that is my personal reality. But with white guys they flirt, approach, chat me up in stores/restaurants/at work (currently dating one of the managers) etc. etc., and ask me out on a weekly basis.

And I see it over and over in my area. Black men do NOT want black women. Only Mexican or white. I NEVER see young black couples EVER...or very rarely.

Yea but you live in AZ. Outside of the Phoenix Suns and Cardinals, how many black men are there in that state? Hell, how many black people choose to live in AZ period? I've never even met a black person, in all my travels, who was from AZ.

Dudes move out there either to play sports collegiately or professionally or to get out of CA usually after receiving some felonies.

Gigi talks crap on black men all the time. But she finally slipped up and said basically she wants to date black men but can't attract them.

I mean let's be honest. A black women in California with all the Eva Longorias, Drayas, Lucy Lui's, Kim Kardashian that is dark skin and afrocentric isn't getting that much play from black men and you know it . Gigi is one of those women who went off the deep end and because of that developed a hatred for black men and now dates whites.

She doesn't believe a black guy would want her. That's sad to me .

It's really simple. Having parents who are of different races makes you biracial.
