Shorty was too annoying to get her point across. I stopped listening once she brought up that therapist from the other day.

With that said.....

I kinda see why nobody ever reviews his work tho. I remember a thread in here not too long ago where a poster was as asking for some independent reviews on Black Sands, and the creator never could post any review from an objective source. For as popular as he is, nobody ever talks about the actual series itself. People just talk about him or his movement.

and annoying ass shorty was right about dude coming across as "hoteppy" Every post he makes about his work is always on some black owned, black this, black that shyt. Then you find out later that the actual artist is some cac. :mjlol:

There's way more talented people on the coli than dude, but nobody has every pandered like he did, so he blew up the most.
It is like shooting fish in a barrel. If you are trying to sell something all you have to do is focus on the black folks that are just making it by, keep bringing up black this and that, show some black excellence, and watch then money come in.

:russ: Home girl in op used every buzzword. To get her audience triggered lol. But here goes the content creator. That Black Sands has a problem with. Dude needs to understand not everyone. Is going to like your product.

Gotta learn to live with criticism like that. As a black man you will ALWAYS be a target once you “break through” so to speak and if your doing ANYTHING that is deemed “Too Masculine” there will be a small minority thats not rocking with you. Artists are sensitive to their work, but if you’ve broken through to the point where you have thousands fans and supporters some stuff you gotta let go.

I agree homie should’ve taken the criticism. And kept it moving there’s no need. To send your fan base to harass ol girl.

It was clear as day that the dude was on some hotep shyt. The hyperfocus on ancient Egypt is usually a dead giveaway

Yea. People will have their criticisms with your work regardless of what you do. You can never please anyone. Best thing to do is just ignore them, push through with your work, and continue to do what you do.

Wonder if she has a problem with mangas like Batuque which is about Japanese people doing capoeira and tying themselves in with Brazilian favela gangs. The damn leader of the gang is some white passing dude with pop smoke braids. And there’s Brazilian nikkas coming to Japan to cause trouble

Fleshed out character development is needed but we need instances of black boys controlling their emotions(control does not mean suppress) instead of flailing them around. We give kudos to stoic no nonsense female characters all the time. What’s wrong with a no nonsense Black man? John Stewart from the JL DCAU was great because he was like my uncles: no c00nery, no joking all the time, and straight to the point problem solving mentality
Just checked out this manga, thanks for putting me on breh. And, yeah, these feminist types hate seeing strong Black Men. So take what ever the tiktok thot says with a grain of salt. Black Male demonization, criminalization, feminization and erasure is their goal.

I don’t do comics to know anything about it and the videos that been posted of her in here tells me she’s just like that fake therapist hoe
Funny thing you said that. She mentioned her. Soon as she did I turned it off.
