when he wasnt getting enough feedback he then resorted to spamming the shyt out of his site. mods gave him a bit leeway first, but then a lot of folks were fed up with blatant spamming and I think mods limited it.

it was basically follow/retweet/subscribe pleas that happen on youtube/switch/twitter/etc nowadays, just in forum form and almost begging for them.

He was also looking for writers to work for free in the early 2000's (2002/3); I know because I offered but asked what compensation/gifts (hats, shirts, ticket events) in return besides a byline; never heard back

He was a regular member on SOHH. He would post links to his articles and we would give him feedback. Man that shyt was ROUGH. Thats why we were so shocked that his site actually took off and he was getting legit press access. His articles read like a 6th grader wrote them.

No bullshyt, when I heard “Robert Littal, BlackSportsOnline.....” I couldn’t fukkin believe it. On the one hand it’s cool to see someone from our parts make it, on the other hand his writing was fukkin awful so the fact he got this far over more quality independent Black sports media outlets is troubling to say the least.
