As a fan of the comic this should've been more than one film or a series. A few of the big storylines were cut out (i.e Manji teaming up with Magatsu, Mugai-Ryu storylines scaled back) but they got most of the important early storylines in so overall it was great. Was curious to see how they would deal with the costume design and the weapons as they're kind of wild but they were on fukking point

Just finished watching this on Hulu, not as good as 13 Assassins, but solid . The connection between Manji/Rin pulls the story along, as the big battle scenes turn into Dynasty Warriors with all the slashing
